Evidence & Mechanism
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) and a tuftsin analog that has been studied for its effects on GABAergic signaling, stress-response modulation, neuroimmune signaling and cognitive processes. Mechanistic research suggests potential modulation of GABA receptors, neurotrophic factors and immune signaling. While research is ongoing, human clinical evidence is limited, and this product is intended for research purposes only. For research purposes only.
May influence GABA receptor activity.
May help regulate stress and anxiety responses.
Explored for potential immune system interactions.
May support learning, memory and neuroplasticity.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered.
Find quick answers to common questions about this Product.
Selank has been investigated for anxiety-related effects. Small comparative studies in people with anxiety disorders reported improvements on symptom-rating scales. These findings are preliminary and need larger, independently replicated trials with clear controls and longer follow-up. They do not establish that a research vial reliably treats anxiety or improves calmness in otherwise healthy people.
Selank and Semax are distinct peptides. Selank’s human literature includes anxiety symptoms, while Semax studies include stroke rehabilitation and laboratory work on nerve-cell signalling. Different research interests do not create a proven “calm versus focus” choice. Direct comparative trials would be needed to establish which produces better outcomes for a particular group.
A change in a symptom score or cellular signalling pathway does not establish improved everyday memory or concentration. The reviewed Selank studies are too limited to provide dependable estimates of uncommon adverse effects or long-term safety. Likewise, a purity report cannot establish that a particular formulation reproduces the results of a clinical study.
Selank has small human studies on anxiety symptoms, while Semax has laboratory neurotrophin research and limited studies in stroke rehabilitation. These are separate evidence bases. They explain interest in a combination, but do not establish that the listed Selank plus Semax blend improves both mood and focus, or provides a broader cognitive benefit.
A result for either ingredient alone cannot determine the effect of a mixture. The blend could differ in absorption, stability, tolerability or clinical response. Demonstrating an advantage requires direct comparison of the exact formulation with its components and a control. DSIP’s separate, mixed sleep findings do not add evidence that this blend improves sleep.
