The Science
Evidence & Mechanism
Epithalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly; AEDG) is a synthetic tetrapeptide that has been studied in vitro and in preclinical models for its effects on telomerase activity, telomere length, cellular aging and neuroendocrine regulation. Human cell studies, including fibroblast models, have reported telomerase activation. While human clinical evidence for anti-aging or longevity effects has not been established, this product is intended for research purposes only.
Studied for its role in telomerase expression.
Explored for potential effects in cell models.
Investigated for pineal gland and hormone support.
Preclinical and early clinical evaluations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered.
Find quick answers to common questions about this Product.
Epitalon, also spelled Epithalon, has been studied for effects on telomerase and telomeres, the protective structures at chromosome ends. Human cell-culture experiments reported changes in telomerase activity and telomere length. These findings concern cellular biology and do not demonstrate longer life, younger-looking skin or slower ageing in people.
An older study in rhesus monkeys examined Epitalon’s effects on melatonin and cortisol rhythms. Changes in sleep-related hormones offer a research lead, but they are not the same as improved human sleep. Establishing an insomnia benefit would require controlled studies measuring sleep quality, waking during the night and next-day functioning.
A long-term human study discussed in the related reading used Epithalamin, a pineal-gland extract, rather than synthetic Epitalon. Its outcomes therefore cannot establish benefits for this peptide. Pinealon is another distinct compound. Similar names, shared ageing themes and podcast accounts do not make these preparations clinically equivalent or establish their long-term safety.
