The Science
Evidence & Mechanism
TB-500 is a thymosin-beta-4 related synthetic fragment that is chemically distinct from full-length thymosin beta-4. It is studied for its potential roles in actin dynamics, cell migration, angiogenesis, cytoskeletal organization and tissue repair processes. Preclinical research suggests TB-500 may influence pathways involved in connective tissue remodeling and regeneration. Human clinical evidence for TB-500 itself has not been established.
Binds and sequesters G-actin (research).
Studied for its role in cell migration (research).
Investigated for its potential role in new blood vessel formation (research).
Studied for its role in tissue repair and regeneration (research).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered.
Find quick answers to common questions about this Product.
Interest in TB-500 comes largely from research on thymosin beta-4, a peptide involved in cell movement and tissue responses. However, a chemically analysed TB-500-labelled sample contained the shorter fragment Ac-LKKTETQ. Findings for full-length thymosin beta-4 cannot automatically establish the effects of that fragment or of every product sold as TB-500.
Full-length thymosin beta-4 promoted cell migration and survival in laboratory experiments and improved cardiac repair measures in mice. Those findings identify a possible repair pathway. They do not show that a TB-500 research vial heals human tendons, regenerates cartilage or improves exercise recovery. The exact molecule and the injured tissue both matter when interpreting a study.
BPC-157 has a separate body of tendon-cell and animal research. It is not another name for thymosin beta-4 or its fragments. Different mechanisms can provide a reason to investigate a combination, but do not prove extra benefit. Podcast stories and blend names such as “Wolverine,” GLOW or KLOW cannot replace controlled evidence for the actual formulation.
